Seeking a Medium to Long-Term Rental in Oslo

First and foremost: The reason why I am not verified yet is because I am in the process of obtaining my Personal Number. Until I have the Bank ID, I won’t be shown as a verified user. But I will very soon.

I am looking for a long-term rental for myself ( Not Shared Apartments). I originally moved to Oslo from Italy in December 2023 to be closer to my partner, and we lived together in Oslo until September 2024. After spending some time back in Italy to be near my family, I am now back in Oslo with the intention of staying long-term. Although I am still with my partner I am now looking for a place for just myself.

My goal is to find a dream place where I can live at least until October 2025! However, I will strongly consider any excellent fit, regardless of the rental agreement length.

My current tenancy ends on July 1st (I have recently secured an apartment until the 1st of July, and I’m looking for a place ideally for the rest of the summer. Shorter-term options are also acceptable until I find the next one.

My monthly budget is at a very maximum of 17,000 NOK.

A bit about me:

I’m Giacomo, 34, a warm, calm, and considerate person with a big heart. I absolutely love visiting cafes, expressing myself authentically, studying, being creative, storytelling, and spending time with friends. I have a passion for reflexology, personal training, life coaching, business consulting and personal finance.

At home, I like to watch movies, study, create digital art, write, or just relax. When I’m not at home, I enjoy working out, exploring local markets, visiting cafes, and getting to know the city. I don’t drink alcohol.

I work primarily from home through my online business (Instagram: giacomohumandesign ).
In addition to that I offer Life Coaching and Business Consulting services.

As a tenant:

I take very good care of the place I live in and am very tidy.
I’m quite handy, with a background as a handyman.
I enjoy taking care of plants and creating a nice environment around me.
I don’t party and prefer a quiet and peaceful living space.
I can also provide several references from previous landlords in Oslo.

My needs:

Space to work from home (a dining table is just perfect)
Location in an urban area with access to shops, public transportation, and a library or cafe
Grocery store in the nearby vicinity
Quiet area
