Having visited Norway frequently over the last few years for hiking, climbing, and cross-country skiing, I quickly fell in love with the Salten area. I've now decided to trade city life for the outdoors and make Bodø my new home.

I am a German/Dutch mix and speak English, Dutch, and German fluently. My Norwegian is currently at an A2 level, but I am practicing daily and picking it up quickly!
Having spent most of my life in Amsterdam, I work in Learning & Development and Leadership Training. My job is fully remote, which gives me the stability of a steady career and the flexibility to spend my free time in nature.

As a flatmate, I am clean, organised, polite, and respectful of shared spaces and privacy. I am quite social and keen on living in a shared house for my first year or two to build a local network and get to know people. Coming from a family of restaurant and bakery owners, I love cooking and baking for others, so you can definitely expect some fresh treats!
