Hei folks,

I am Enrico!
No, that’s not a Spanish name. Italian. No, I’m not an Italian. Sorry. I’m German. Wait! …please keep reading! It’s not as bad as it sounds ;)

Actually, I don’t consider myself a typical German. (which is why I don’t live there). And I definitely don’t feel like being 41. (…some mornings it’s more like 85 hahaha).

Seriously, in fact, I come with all the advantages that a grown-up German has.
And asking others…
I’m very entertaining and polite (according to my guests).
I am extremely cool and fun to be with (if you ask my nieces and young work mates).
My friends appreciate that I am honest, trustworthy and considerate.
And according to my employers, colleagues and landlords I am very responsible, reliable and respectful.

People even say I’m funny!....
I know, right?! Unbelievable. That’s so not German ;)

Doesn’t sound too bad, right?

What else?
Well, I’m a tourism expert for 20 years who has travelled the world and in the last almost 2 years I have lived in Finnmark. Now I am about to make Oslo my new home.

I am a very sociable person who enjoys being surrounded by others. Most of the time I used to live in long-term relationships. In between I enjoyed co-living (mixed or with ladies only. …they are just more social, respectful and tidy). From small talks to board game sessions to cooking together or just going for a nice walk, I enjoy easy going things. At the same time, others would describe me as sophisticated, thoughtful and curious. What really fulfils me are deep talks with sharing ideas, thoughts and worries about us and the world around us. That, in combination with an active lifestyle. I am very much into fitness and any kind of physical activity in nature, such as hiking, biking, skiing, etc. Sea kayaking is my big thing (I am instructor/guide).

I am a very considerate and neat person. I will always leave the house as tidy and organized as we all deserve to find it. As mentioned, I like social gatherings and usually I’m up for all fun things. However, hard core partying, drinking and smoking are not on my to-do-list. Since we are all different and have our very own likes and dislikes, respect and mutual consideration is very important. Which means that I also appreciate and need time and space for myself to do my things. And I prefer a quiet environment for sleeping.

I am looking for a place where we at least respect each other’s needs. However, in the best case we grow into a great team enjoying amazing moments together.

Well, perhaps also nice to know, I have two skilled hands. I know the difference between a screwdriver and a pair of pliers, and I know how to use them too. Generally speaking, I’m the sort of person who likes to lend a hand. DIY jobs around the house, gardening, clearing snow…that’s fun.

I speak German (surprise), English (obviously) and some Spanish (not Italian. I know it’s all very confusing. hahaha). Unfortunately, Norwegian has always taken a back seat, because of both my work and private environment and circumstances. But I’m on it! And I’m grateful for any support. :)
