Hei!

My name is Gitte, I'm 22 years old and from the Netherlands. I'll be coming to Bergen as an exchange student at the University of Bergen from January 2027, and I'm looking for a room in a shared apartment. I'm really excited to live in a new city and to learn more about Norway, its culture and its people!

A bit about me: I'm energetic, empathetic and spontaneous. Back home I study psychology and work part-time in a pharmacy. I also do volunteer work and, most importantly, I love spending time with my friends. When I'm home, you'll find me on the couch crocheting a new top, cooking something tasty or having a good conversation. Every now and then I like to go out or travel, because I enjoy discovering new places and meeting new people.

In the Netherlands I live with 5 housemates. We each have our own room and share the kitchen and bathroom. For me, that's the perfect setup: I can live independently, but there's always someone around for a chat when I feel like it. I'd love to find something similar in Bergen.

What can you expect from me as a housemate? I'm tidy, I clean up after myself and I do my household tasks on time. I'm respectful of other people's space and quiet hours, and I like the balance between doing my own thing and hanging out with others when they're around. I'm happy to cook together every now and then, too.

I'm a non-smoker and I can provide proof of my admission to the University of Bergen, as well as a reference from my current housemates or landlord if that would help.
