Hi! ☺️

I’m Julia, 26, from Austria, and I’ll be starting a PhD at NTNU in the Electricity Markets and Energy System Planning group at the end of November.

I’m open-minded and curious, always up for good conversations, new perspectives and experiences. You’ll find me outdoors a lot - hiking, trail running, skiing, climbing… Apart from that, I’m a passionate bachata and salsa dancer and also enjoy acroyoga.

I grew up in the countryside, moved to a small university town to study energy engineering, spent a few months in Sydney, and have been living in Vienna and Amsterdam for work over the past few years. Along the way, I’ve lived in several shared flats and was lucky to turn some of my flatmates into really good friends.

I’m looking for a shared flat where people share a little more than just the living space: stories about life, good coffee, the occasional dinner, and maybe even some interests like dancing or outdoor adventures - but most importantly, a place that feels like coming home. 🫶🏽

At the same time, I value having my own space and respect other people’s need for theirs. I’m tidy and enjoy a relaxed, friendly home rather than a party flat.

Living and travelling in different places has shown me how much we can learn from each other’s cultures, perspectives and experiences, so I’m curious to see where life in Trondheim will take me.
