Hi,

My name is Ipshita (she/her), I am 29 years old and I am a geoscientist moving to Oslo from India to join the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway) as a postdoctoral researcher. I am planning to move to Oslo around October 2026 and interested to start my rental contract on 1 November 2026 (flexible, if everything goes well, I am willing to start the rental agreement in Oct itself.)

I am looking for a private, spacious and reasonably priced place in a nice and safe neighborhood. I am flexible with the exact move-in date and can adjust according to the landlord's preference.

Initially, I am looking for a one-year rental contract, with the possibility of extending it further if everything works well.

A little about me: I am a calm, tidy, responsible and respectful person. I am quite introverted and work-focused, and I value a quiet and comfortable living environment. At the same time, I am friendly and outgoing once I get to know people. I don't smoke, I don't party, and I don't have any pets.

As I will be working as a researcher at MET Norway, I expect to have a stable income and can provide the necessary employment and identification documents.
