Hello, my name is Salida Tuleuova. My husband and I are highly interested in renting an apartment. We are moving from Astana, Kazakhstan, to Oslo for long-term residency.
I have recently been accepted for a PhD research fellow position at the University of Oslo (UiO). My daily workplace will be located on Problemveien (Blindern). Since I am employed full-time by the university, we have a guaranteed, stable income to cover the rent promptly. We are a quiet, non-smoking couple and we do not have any pets. Before we proceed, we would highly appreciate it if you could clarify two quick questions: Public Transport: How convenient is the commute from your apartment to Problemveien? Are there direct connections nearby that we can use? Payment: Since we are moving from abroad, what are your standard payment and deposit options for international tenants? Additionally, we are planning to come to Oslo by the 10th of October.
