Hi, I'm Sophia! I'm 26 years old, from Germany, and I study climate system science with a focus on the ocean. Starting in mid-October, I'll be writing my Master's thesis at UiB until early summer (at least). After this, I would like to apply for a PhD, potentially also in Bergen. I already spent this spring semester in Bergen as an Erasmus student, so I'm really looking forward to returning :)
I'm a very optimistic, open-minded, empathetic, and relaxed person who enjoys both good company and some peaceful time on my own. I genuinely enjoy being outdoors in nature, especially on horseback and hiking. I care deeply about climate action, social justice, feminism, queer rights, human rights, and animal rights. I love spending time with the people I care about, whether that's going on a crazy adventure or enjoying a cozy evening with games or a movie. I'll probably be quite busy working on my thesis, but I'm also looking forward to procrastinating on it by spending some fun and cozy time with my flatmates.
