Hei!
We are Myriam and Mo, 25 and 26 years old from southern Germany, and are planning to move to Ås in August. Myriam is starting her Master's programme in Ecology and Mo just finished his studies in Geography and wants to start work life now. We will be bringing our lovely and well behaved dog, who is called Juno. He lived in shared flats with us since we adopted him and it's been wonderful, both for him, us and our roommates! :)
Besides studying, Mo enjoys spending his time playing volleyball, meeting up with friends for some card games or just any games in general! Myriam is trying her hand at fermenting vegetables, drying herbs, baking bread, and all kinds of other little experiments. She’s also working for a local photovoltaic company and bringing along Juno in the office and he’s been loving it, just dozing all day long!!
Apart from that, we spend as much time as possible in nature. All of us love being outside, exploring the forests and mountains around Freiburg, or skating to the lake with inline skates. We have a couple of friends who came to Ås for Erasmus, and they told us about the relaxed student life and the beautiful nature there. One of them even had a window with a view over the forest!! Sounds like a dream come true :)
Both of us have been living in shared flats for many years now and really love the relaxed, cozy, and social atmosphere that comes with it. We enjoy chatting over a cup of tea or sharing some wine with our roommates, and we also appreciate giving everyone their own space when needed!
