Hi!

We are Marianne and Johan, a French couple (both 25 years old) looking for a room in a shared apartment in Bergen from late August / early September. We are planning to stay for at least one year.

I’m Franco-Norwegian and have been living in Bergen for about a year. I work in a tourism shop in Bryggen. I speak French and English fluently, and even though my Norwegian is still a work in progress, I’m improving little by little. I might go back to France next year to continue my studies, but for now Bergen is home 😊

My hobbies are cinema, dogsitting, creative activities, cooking, baking, board games and hanging out with friends. I work a lot, especially during summer, so when I’m off I also enjoy quiet time and relaxing at home.

My boyfriend Johan will move to Bergen at the end of August / beginning of September. He is a chef and would love to cook delicious meals for the flat sometimes! He speaks French fluently and has conversational English. His hobbies are cooking, video games, board games, anime and spending time with friends.

We are both social, respectful and easy-going people. We love animals, cozy evenings, meeting new people and sometimes going out and partying too. Because of our jobs, we can sometimes come home late and work during weekends, so we don’t really have fixed schedules or fixed days off.

We are also very interested in self-sufficiency, sustainability and building a strong community around us. We hope Bergen will become our long-term home, and we would love to create meaningful connections with the people we live with and meet here.
