Dear Haukelandsbakken Student Home Team,
I'm Zi Peng, a 28-year-old visiting student at the University of Bergen, and I'm writing to apply for a room at Haukelandsbakken Student Home starting from 01.07.2026 for a 12-month rental period (until July 2027). If July availability is limited, I am also very happy to move in from 01.07.2026.
I am a registered visiting student (guest researcher) at UiB in the field of climate change, with a stable monthly income from supervisor funding that fully covers the rent. I have attached my valid student documentation and can provide a reference letter from my supervisor at the University of Bergen upon request.
As a straightforward and responsible tenant, I value privacy, open communication, and mutual respect in shared living. I commit to keeping the room tidy, paying rent on time via bank transfer, and following all house rules throughout my stay. Given the 12-month lease aligns perfectly with my research period, I hope to be considered for your long-term rental priority.
