I live with my partner Javier. We have been together since 2011, we love travelling and have lived together in various places like Buenos Aires, Miami and Barcelona. Now we're looking for a long-term rental because we want to stay living in Oslo.
Javier is an architect and arrived in Norway last year. He currently works as a sous-chef at the Holmenkollen Restaurant. I'm a geologist and am doing a PhD at the University of Oslo. We're both studying Norwegian, but we're still at an early stage, which is why we're writing in English, sorry :)
We're currently renting near Røa an apartment in the lower floor of a family house, in which we share the laundry and other spaces with the owners. I have been living in this house since 2023 and Javier joined early in 2025. We really like it here but need to move before the summer because the owners will be renovating. They will be happy to give references for us.
A bit more about us: we don't have children or pets (nor plans of having them :), we don't smoke, and we enjoy reading and spending time outdoors. We also enjoy the occasional lunch or dinner with friends but don’t like parties or loud music.
