Hei! My name is Aidan and I am a 23-year old soon-to-graduate Mechanical Engineering master's student from Ireland. I will be relocating to Oslo upon graduation in late July/early August to start full-time employment with Equinor in Fornebu.
I am looking for accommodation within a 20-30 min commute to Fornebu via public transport in the Oslo / Baerum municipalities. I am flexible to consider accommodation in both private and shared apartments. I have experience living in a shared apartment when I lived in Stuttgart, Germany for a year during my degree, so I have a good understanding of sharing common areas with others!
My preferred rental amount per month is 10,000 NOK (negotiable) and I prefer accommodation with all utilities included. The preferred rental period is a minimum of 6 months from 01/08/2026. Flexibility to extend the rental period would be appreciated since my work will involve assignments in different Norwegian cities (or staying in Fornebu for another 6-month rotation) - this will be confirmed by my employer a few months after I have started.
I am a clean, tidy and respectful individual and I enjoy my personal space while making new friends and enjoying new experiences. I do not party much and only occasionally drink - but I enjoy good local and international food! I do not smoke and have no pets. My hobbies include road (and off-road) cycling, hiking, outdoor adventures and travelling - I am open to trying out new hobbies when I arrive in Norway! My first language is English - but I am very interested in learning Norwegian if you can help!
