Hello,

Marta. I’m in my forties, come from Poland, have lived in Norway for over a year and before that lived in Edinburgh, Scotland, for 18 years. Came to Norway for a jazz/meditative music festival and liked it so much here I moved a year later.

In Poland and Scotland I worked in public and private schools as an English language teacher. I am taking a break from teaching groups and work only with three students online a few times a week. Mostly now I work in Café Oslo in Litteraturhuset in Oslo centre which I really enjoy as it gives me opportunities to interact with many restaurant guests and practice Norwegian. I am learning because I enjoy it and plan to work in a school again in Oslo.

I am a reliable, responsible, quiet, easy-going person. I make people feel comfortable. I don’t smoke and hardly ever drink. I love animals but have no pets. I have a small digital piano and learn to play. Can use headphones to be quiet :) I love cycling, swimming, gentle stretching, meditating, cold showers in the morning and even though I’m happy spending time on my own I really enjoy having people around me and interacting when I have time and energy:)

So far I have lived in Smestad for 3 months subletting from a friend, then I moved in Borgen for a year renting a hybel. My landlord has asked everyone living there to move out because they want to renovate the house and move in themselves. I have found a new place but after over a week here I have decided this will be only a temporary place and am looking for a new one now 😊 I have references from my landlady from the Borgen house.

Is one reference enough?
