Hi! My name is Alex and along with my wife and our two kids, we are looking for a 3 bedroom apartment to rent starting 1 April 2026. We are moving from Minnesota, United States to Tromsø where I will be working full time for the Arctic Council Secretariat at the Fram Centre on a 4 year contract. We are looking for a long-term rental in a quiet neighborhood on Tromsøya that is safe and stable. Ideally, we would like something larger than 80m² and for close to 25,000 kr per month, with flexibility on size, price, and bedrooms for the right home. A parking space would be nice and prefer partially furnished as we will be bringing some of our furniture, but not all.
We are a quiet family with reliable income who enjoy life in the outdoors from skiing to hiking and camping as well as reading and playing games together. We are clean, responsible, and own our current home, so we are used to the tasks of maintaining a home. I have references available from the Arctic Council Secretariat and can coordinate with colleagues for viewings on our behalf.
