Hello,

My name is Merlin (♂, 29, German), and I started my PhD (full-time) at NTNU Trondheim in April 2026. I am living in a shared flat in Trondheim at the moment. Since we had to terminate our contract here, I am looking for a nice, cozy apartment or a room in shared housing that I can call my home for the coming years.

I would like to move in at the beginning of July or August 2026.

Some information about me:
I value a tidy home and the opportunity to socialize. For this, I love to play board games or cook together (would love to learn about some traditional Norwegian dishes). I like to explore the surrounding area by bicycle (Mountainbike), which I fix and maintain myself. I am always happy to help you with your bicycle, too.
Obviously, I want to learn cross-country skiing, what else are you supposed to do in the winter ;). Maybe you can teach me.
I am always up for a cabin trip or a barbecue during the weekend.

I am an outgoing person; however, I am not noisy at all (no loud music or instruments). I like to invite friends over, but usually rather for cooking or board game sessions than for parties.
I don't smoke, and I don't own any pets. I have lived in multiple shared flats for ten years now, so I am not new to this ;)

I am looking for a light apartment, as close to campus Gløshaugen as possible. The room should be (partially) furnished.

Please let me know if you have a vacant place that could be a match for me.
