Olá! My name is Beatriz Viais, I am 22 years old and from Lisbon, Portugal. Since 2015, when I first discovered Norwegian culture through "SKAM", I have carried a special admiration and affection for Norway. After years of dedication and hard work in my studies, I am very happy to say that I have been accepted for an Erasmus exchange at AHO – The Oslo School of Architecture and Design – for the upcoming spring semester of 2026, where I will continue my Master’s in Architecture.
Last year I spent six months in Milan on Erasmus, which gave me valuable experience in sharing a home with other students. Living with Italians not only helped me improve my Italian, but also taught me how to adapt, be respectful, and contribute to a clean and calm household environment. I also love cooking, and I am always happy to prepare some good Portuguese and Italian dishes.
As a person, I am very easy-going, thoughtful, and considerate of others. I value peace and respect at home, and I am naturally tidy and responsible. My only real concern is financial, since I am a student with limited resources. For this reason, my maximum budget for a room is 6400 NOK per month.
I am really looking forward to this new chapter in Oslo, and I hope to find a welcoming place to live while I study. Thank you very much for taking the time to read my introduction!
