Hi there,

My name is Qingyu Jiang. I am currently in my second year as a student at the University of Bergen, studying Applied and Computational Mathematics. Before coming to UiB, I completed my Bachelor's degree in China in 2018 and my first Master's degree in Australia in 2021. After that, I worked for nearly four years in China as a researcher in marine science before moving to Bergen to continue my studies and pursue an academic career.

I am looking for a place to rent in Bergen, preferably for at least 12 months or longer. I will be living with my girlfriend, who studied Statistics and Machine Learning at University College London for both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees and is currently in her gap year. We have been together for around three years. We also have a female Ragdoll cat living with us.

We are both responsible, quiet, and tidy people. We do not smoke and we do not like to hold parties at home. In our spare time, we enjoy sports, especially tennis and table tennis, which we have both played since primary school. I am very interested in natural science and problem-solving, while my girlfriend enjoys reading. We also like travelling and skiing during holidays.

We have lived in Bergen for a year now and really enjoy the city. We are now looking for a lovely and comfortable apartment where we can stay long-term. We would be very happy to hear from you and arrange a viewing.
