I’m Marijke Roosen, a 37-year-old woman from Belgium. I just moved to Norway in the beginning of September to start my position as a Marie Curie postdoctoral researcher at OsloMet. I’ve shared a place before, while living in Helsinki for several months where I worked for a progressive think tank. I’m a quiet person, and my hobbies are very much what you’d expect from an introvert—reading, hiking, and cooking. I’m a vegan (though not always a perfect one!) and I love experimenting with new vegan recipes. I’m also a proud, raging feminist 😊. I’ll be traveling quite a bit in the coming months for both work and personal commitments. I plan to spend my weekends exploring the city and the rest of Norway. I’ve just started Norwegian classes, but in the meantime, I speak Dutch (native language), fluent English, and decent French.
I am currently looking for a short-term rental from November until Mid-December.
