a little bit about myself and why I am currently looking for long term rental in Bergen. I am 28 years old and graduated from NHH with my masters in økonomi in June 2024. Since then, I have been working in the Oil and Gas industry for Subsea7 in Stavanger. Before coming to Norway in 2022, I was living in my hometown of Chicago, Illinois.
The reason why I am moving back to Bergen and looking for an apartment because I have accepted a full-time (fast) contract with Omega Subsea as a Financial controller and would like to be closer and network which is mostly in Bergen. The Starting date for my new position is April 2026, therefore I am beginning to look for an apartment with hopes of moving in late March or Early April 2026. However, I have some flexibility and am able to negotiate and potentially discuss a rental contract and for the apartment in March if necessary.
