Hi, I´m Gideon, 27 years old and originally from Mainz, Germany. I am doing my PhD in structural biology at UiB and am now starting into my second year. Because part of my project had to be done in Hamburg, Germany, I left Bergen with a heavy heart, but will soon move back for the remaining two years.

Therefore, I am now looking for a nice place to stay, starting from June with a long-term perspective. I will work next to Haukeland hospital so it would be best if the accomodation i s accessible by a relatively short trip on public transport, but I don´t want to narrow down a certain district. Shared apartments are preferred, although I would like to not have too many roommates. I have lived in shared apartments in several countries before, so I have plenty of experience :)
Because I am coming from abroad, I would rely on the room being furnished (at least bed, wardrobe, desk).

I am a very calm, friendly, and social person that is always open to try new stuff and meet exciting people. In my free time, I enjoy to meet with friends, cook together, listen to music, play games or have fun outside. I like hiking, swimming, skiing, and going to the sauna. Nevertheless, I appreciate some time alone sometimes to recharge from the stressful day-to-day life.
I am a reliable and tidy tenant who appreciates having a home where I feel comfortable and welcome and can rest during the weekdays. Some sense of community in the apartment and motivation to socialize are appreciated.

I have a regular salary and BankID. References from previous landlords in Bergen can be provided upon request.
