Hey, I am Maryam, 35, and I am currently looking for a comfortable apartment/hybel to rent “long-term”. I recently relocated from Stavanger to Oslo (half a year ago) to begin a new position and am excited to settle into the city. I lived in Stavanger for seven years—two years completing my master’s degree and five years working in the IT and tech field.
I work as a Software Engineer/developer, and my role provides a stable income and a predictable schedule, which allows me to be reliable with rent and tenancy commitments. I have already lived in a collective in Oslo, where I enjoyed a positive and respectful shared-living environment. Unfortunately the landlord wants his house back in summer.
I consider myself friendly and social, and I enjoy connecting with others while still respecting privacy and quiet hours. I travel frequently on weekends and do not have children or pets. I enjoy going out from time to time, workout 3-4 times a week, share a glass of wine in town with friends, etc., but I also value my alone time. I’m tidy, mindful, a bit spiritual, and easy to live with. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and festivals the most. Currently looking for a shared place to help reduce living costs.
