Hi! We are a mid-thirties married from Brisbane, Australia. We are moving back to Tromsø to work full-time at the UiT in 2026. We would like to rent an apartment from the start/mid/end of January 2026. My requests are: we would like the apartment to be on Tromsøya and I want to be able to store my bicycle inside, or in a sports shed.
I have a permant position at UiT UiT working for Idrettshøgskolen as a Førsteamanuensis i treningsfysiologi. I previous worked at UiT from 2021-2024 as a postdoctoral researcher and project leader on an female athletes project called FENDURA. I have a PhD in Exercise Physiology. My wife also has a PhD in dietetics and will be working full time at UiT as well, at ISM, in the Healthy Choices project.
We am quiet, calm married couple who does not party or smoke. We always pay rent on time and will help shovel snow and maintain the property as required. I have rented in Tromsø before (2021-2022) without a complaint or problem, and then lived in a house i bought in Stllovegen from 2022-2024.
In my spare time we like to cycle, run and go for trips! Look forward to talking to you soon.
