International collective in Grünerløkka

We have a spacious 16m² room available in our lovely house and are looking for a new flatmate to join us. The house is tucked away in a quiet courtyard right by Olaf Ryes plass (10 meters from the tram, but completely peaceful with no street noise!).
•⁠ ⁠The Room: 16m², unfurnished/flexible, overlooks our beautiful garden.
•⁠ ⁠Available: Move-in from now (long-term).
•⁠ ⁠Price: Rent is 9,917 NOK + electricity.
•⁠ ⁠Who you'll live with: An international group of working professionals/academics (aged 24–32) from Germany, the Netherlands, and Iran.
About our vibe:
We have an international and inclusive environment that welcomes anyone who loves to share both space and experiences. We love to hang out and enjoy each other’s company, whether that's movie nights, cooking together, playing games, or backyard BBQs, while fully respecting everyone's need for private space.
Because we all work, we highly value peaceful nights and cleanliness. We keep a functional house/garden and share housekeeping responsibilities, so active contribution to keeping the place nice is a must. We are definitely not a "party-all-week" house, but we're also not a disconnected flat-share where people just hide in their rooms.

Your flatmates:
Jan-Ole (31) from Germany, doing PhD in Microbiology at UiO. He's what one calls a plant dad. As you walk into the house, you will feel the greenness thanks to him. You'll see him laughing, unless he's sleeping (haven't checked though :p). Also, quite a good climber and nature lover. Last, he has all the tools one can imagine on the face of the planet for repairing whatever!

Amel (26) from the Netherlands, works in data for a consultancy, and loves international communities. The tallest of the lot in the collective, and 90% of the time he takes his guitar with him. Can be considered a human Spotify. Also, if there is an event, hangout, etc happening in town, you'll probably bump into him :D

Wouter (24) from the Netherlands is a musician, which makes living in the house similar to living in a Disney classic. If in the kitchen, he's busy experimenting with a new cake or recipe, especially when it's mushroom season. You will have the chance to be in the company of a soon-to-be famous artist :)

Danjal (32) from Iran, a baby imaging expert (ultrasound sw developer). Since I am writing this, it's a bit sketchy to indulge in patting myself on the shoulder, but I am ofc an amazing person, like, one that seems too good to be true, like a dream has come true, like no one has seen one like me before... but at the same time, I'm quite sarcastic. So, now you can read my description from the beginning with this information in mind 😅

Viktig informasjon om strømavtale ved kontraktsinngåelse
Hvis leiekontrakten opprettes og signeres via Hybel, og det er avtalt at leietaker skal tegne egen strømavtale, er det et krav at avtalen bestilles fra en av våre kommersielle samarbeidspartnere i forbindelse med signering av leiekontrakten. Dette gjøres for å sikre at leietaker har en strømavtale ved innflytting. Avtalen har ingen bindingstid, og leietaker står fritt til å bytte til en annen strømleverandør etter at kontrakten har startet.
