Room in Kronstad’s coziest Villa

One room in our villa at Kronstad.
Our dearest roommate is moving out of our cozy collective, opening up space for new people that would fit in our home!

The House

Our 240 m2 community mansion has two living-rooms, a fireplace, a huge kitchen, office space, three bathrooms with toilet and shower, 7 bedrooms, spacious attic and basement with bicycle workshop and parking, workshop space. We have a large yard with a garden and greenhouse, and off-street parking for two cars.

The house is located in Kronstad close to the Sentrum and Haukeland hospital, with easy access to public transport. It’s a 10 min bike ride or a 25 min walk to the city center.

The people

We are a group of people between 28-40 year old academics/artists/students/outdoor types, interested in the environment and sustainability and having many varied interests like: growing plants, foraging, dancing, skiing, climbing, biking, cooking, reading, playing games and just plain silliness.

We are social and enjoy spending time together and we regularly have friends or visitors over. At the same time, we are respectful with each other and enjoy having a silent house in the evenings as we all have busy weeks. There is enough space in the house to retreat by ourselves and we value everyone’s privacy. We care for each other, having regular house meetings with open conversations where we talk about the atmosphere and habits in the house.

A massive perk about living in this house is that we share delicious vegetarian dinners: every evening, somebody cooks for everyone else (and gets treated the rest of the week as the others cook). We also have cleaning duties each week which are organised with a chore wheel, and allow us the keep the house clean and organised.

You must be interested in making things work as a group, and be interested in collective living.

Practicalities

One rooms will be available from January 2026 until August 2026. The room are approx. 15 square meters.

Individual rent is calculated by dividing the total rent by the number of flatmates. This means that everybody pays the same rent. With 7 people in the house the rent is 5300kr

The deposit is two months rent.
