2.Bedrooms available in Tromsdalen

I’m renting out two bedrooms in a charming old house in central Tromsdalen. We are looking to fil the bedrooms from October 15th and November 1st. We are looking for long term renters but are open to short term.

About the House:
The house is centrally located, close to the cathedral, bus connections, the gondola, grocery stores, and hiking trails. My mom owns the house and stays part-time in the basement apartment when she visits from the US.

The Rooms:
The bedrooms are on the third floor and are furnished with a bed, desk, and closet. They’re cozy, with slanted ceilings, and share a bathroom on the second floor. We have extra blankets, towels, and bed sheets if needed.

What I’m Looking for:
I’m looking for friendly, responsible roommates who enjoy socializing but also respect personal space and quiet time. I’m open to occasional game nights or house dinners but also value quiet evenings at home.

House Expectations:
- A shared cleaning schedule and responsibilities for chores.
- Help with snow shoveling in winter and cutting the grass in summer.
- Respect for quiet hours, especially since the kitchen is above the basement bedroom.
- Clear communication and mutual respect for everyone in the house.
- we would prefer renters with no cars since we already have two and during the winter months it can get tight with parking.
- Rent is 7500 NOK per month

About Me:
I’m 29 years old, half American, half Norwegian. I grew up in Montana and moved to Norway in 2020 after university. I currently work at a construction company where i commute Monday-Thursday each week. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, Nordic skiing, backcountry skiing, running, and spending time with friends or relaxing at home with a book or TV show.

The other room is occupied by Tobias who is a happy and easy going 28 year old Swede who works as a nurse.
