Room available in a calm shared flat for women, in a calm neigborhood close to the city center and the campuses!
Hi!
I am looking for a new flatmate to my shared, female flat đ The flat is situated in calm surroundings at Ăya, within walking distance of the city center, NTNU (GlĂžshaugen, Ăya and Kalvskinnet campuses), and the St. Olav Hospital. Itâs right next to a pleasant bike and pedestrian path along the Nidelva River, and a short minute walk away, there is a stadium which anyone can access for free for running and working out. The park area between the stadium and the river is also nice for doing yoga and working out in. There are even a couple of âstationsâ with strengthening devices.
The flat, including the bedrooms, is fully furnished and equipped. There is no shared living room, but all the rooms are big enough to function as living rooms with a sofa, an armchair, and a coffee table, and we appreciate a chat in the kitchen đ
The contract has a binding period until the 31st of July 2026. The electricity costs are added to the rent. Because the flat is on the ground floor, with a cold basement underneath, we, unfortunately, use a bit of energy to heat up the flat. The last calculation showed that the expense per person per month is around 650 NOK in average throughout a year. Each tenant must pay 700 NOK/month for her consume in advance. When a tenant moves out, the costs will be calculated. If the tenants have paid too much, they will be refunded the excess amount. If they have paid too little, they must pay the difference to the landlord.
Sublease is allowed if both tenants and the landlord approve the sublease candidate.
Smoking and pets are not allowed. There are also some restrictions regarding parties and visits.
Who are we looking for?
Itâs an advantage if everyone is roughly the same age and shares some interests, but these aspects are not requisites. The most important thing is that you get along and can appreciate sharing flat. Both Anna and Kristine have busy lives, and their social lives mainly take place elsewhere than at home. They appreciate a chat in the kitchen and a shared dinner occasionally, but itâs also totally fine to âcharge oneâs batteriesâ in each your rooms. Being considerate towards each other is important, for instance by tidying up after oneself in the common areas and by being quiet when someone has gone to bed.
Who might be your future flatmates?
Anna is 28 years old and has just started her first year of a bachelorâs degree in geology at NTNU. She loves to hike, work-out, do yoga, read books and watch movies.
Kristine is 24 years old and is in her last year of the bachelorâs degree in physiotherapy at NTNU. I think she has approximately the same interests as Anna, but I need to doublecheck :D
