My name is Ying Luo, and I will start my PhD at NTNU in Trondheim in February 2025. My research focuses on Human-Machine Interface and User Experience design. I am originally from China, currently living in Germany, and I completed my Master’s degree in Sweden, so I am already familiar with Nordic culture.
I speak English, German, and Chinese, and I am preparing to learn Norwegian. I am friendly, warm, and open-minded, and I enjoy living in multicultural environments. I also have a stable long-term work contract for at least three years.
As a tenant, I am quiet, tidy, and responsible. I don’t smoke and I don’t have pets. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, watching movies, watercolor painting, and knitting.
My ideal home is a bright apartment with its own kitchen, where I can live comfortably and focus on my research.
